Here is the sequel to last week's movie, where the engine finally comes out. It took a bit of work to get the tail of the transmission over and out, but there were no mishaps.
This is a semi-sporadic record of my conversion of a 1970 MGB-GT to electric. I am using industrial AC drive components and lithium iron phosphate batteries. Most of the work so far has gone into building a battery management system for the 360-volt (100 cell) pack.
